About This Initiative

Our community outreach program in Ogun State focused on reaching families in rural areas where access to menstrual products is limited. We engaged both mothers and daughters to break intergenerational silence around menstruation. The program included educational sessions in local languages, distribution of sustainable menstrual products, and training on reusable pad making. We also established a community resource center that will serve as an ongoing distribution point. This holistic approach ensures that cultural barriers are addressed while providing immediate support and long-term solutions for menstrual health management in underserved communities.
